週五跑去看premiere歌劇"fellow students" ( Kommilitonen) ,整場幾乎座無虛席!!!茱莉亞製作的戲劇一直都是公認的好,再來故事的張力也融入了Maxwell音樂,當中德國學生已經預知納粹政權會破壞德國社會並集結對抗,但最後卻被送進集中營。中國毛青派歷經父母被無辜犧牲的掙扎,卻選擇活命甘願寧視不見,並透露幫文革寫歷史必須掩蓋部分真實。劇作家David Pountiney將德國和中國學生作了巧妙的對比安排,他說,The current Chinese establishment has no problem with guilt:they just ignored it, and fine blame equally unproductive. Guilt, self-recrimination, and blame are,as they would see it, point-less distractions.Perhaps in 500 years it will not still be too soon to address these issues?

這三段故事不約而同都繞到自由的議題上,年輕人的滿腹理想對時代的變革總有讓社會前進改變的力量。套句話 "理想主義是年輕人最後的奢侈" 現在我懷疑但也不反對這樣說法。
此外,Maxwell的idea採用美國50年代音樂,和40年代的German style,以及中國當代音樂。
